I am writing to give my recommendation for a stay at the Lakeside
Village Motel at Wheatley, Ontario. We were looking for a place outside
of Leamington for a short stay. When we found the Lakeside Village
Motel online we were not sure if it would be worth staying about twenty
minutes from Leamington. I was pleasantly surprised to find the motel
situated in a peaceful setting with a camping area in the backyard and
the lake beyond. The rooms were very neat and more importantly very
clean. We enjoyed our quiet stay very much and would like to report
that it was worth the twenty minute drive from Leamington. We were so
impressed with the place that we are planning to return for a family
camp out soon!

My wife and I stayed at Lakeside Village Motel the nights of July 3rd and 4th. We stayed in a Housekeeping room. I found this room clean and very spacious with newer furnishings. Our room was equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave oven, coffee pot and all cooking utensils. All the appliances had a newer appearance and were in working order. The room had 1 queen size bed. We found it to be very comfortable.
We had a good night sleep during our stay. These are really nice rooms! I highly recommend them!
We had taken nightly walks throughout the campground. The campground looked to be very well maintained with the grass being cut and no litter anywhere throughout the property.
I look forward to a future stay at this facility.

My husband Tim and I stayed at your park in September and we just wanted to let you both know what a great time we had.
This was our first summer of pulling our trailer to various parks in Ontario, and your park was by far the most enjoyable. The views were amazing as was the sound of the water lulling us to sleep each night! We both agreed that it was the most relaxing trip.
The washrooms and shower facilities that you provide for your campers are immaculate as were the grounds and beach.
We also noticed that your seasonal campers were friendly and welcoming which is something we didn't experience in other campgrounds.
We loved the proximity of your campground to Point Pelee, shopping, and other points of interest in the area, but I was always happy to get back to your campground for a nice cup of coffee, a comfortable chair, and those views!
We look forward to seeing you this coming summer.

More Happy Campers..
My husband and I have been looking for the perfect seasonal site for our first year of camping and our first trailer. We had looked at several sites, we were looking for peace and serenity, somewhere relaxing to go after work and on the weekends. We found that and more at Lakeside village.
Upon our arrival, We were greeted by a welcome and a smile, even though our arrival was right at dinner time. Upon pulling into the campsite you immediately felt a sense of complete relaxation. There were no bad sites, all had a wonderful view of the lake, and spacious. In other parks we went to the seasonal campers just stared as you drove bye, the seasonal campers that were at lakeside this day waved and smiled. The campground was spotless and well maintained. Dan took a lot of time out of his evening answering all our many questions, and we had many as we are newbies. The bathrooms were immaculate as was the motel.
If you are looking for a relaxing place to camp, a awesome view of the lake and pleasant owners who pay attention to detail than this is a campground to definitely put on your list to check out.
We can hardly wait to set up camp.
